Thanks for clearly explaining that. My work said the same thing that if I had any questions to just ask, so I asked what the boot requirements were and why we need a defined heel. Their version of the open door policy was to have me stay home all day on a monday so that HR could call me and they said "it's policy and that I should follow policy" and they sent me an infographic of what a boot looks like. I asked if I could order the orthopedic version that doesn't have the heel because the heel was shifting my weight in a way I'm not comfortable with (my heel is generally numb by the end of the day) and their response was that I should follow policy unless I want to take a day off (another one) to go see a doctor first. Lesson learned! Don't every ask questions about a policy, just follow the policy <eyeroll>

Being that it's a slip-on boot how is the ankle support do the boots feel loose on the feet or do they feel snug

antifog has never worked for me..

One can have waterproof or breathable boots, but not both. Sadly most non-waterproof boots I've been around don't breath either.

For me I’m flatfoot so for me I walk in way more comfortable in a logger style boot. Although I know a lot of people that do not think they are comfortable at all but for me, they are.

In my experience, pig skin is virtually indestructible compared to the others, even cow. Deer skin sucks and it’ll tear within weeks. Goats probably the most well rounded.

Not the guy that looks like he's on his feet a lot. Not being nasty but I'm looking to buy new wool socks for a guy that's standing 14+ hrs a day..
